Objectives
 The main aims of the Transport Group are to
ascertain how transport developed in Molesey
over the years, to understand how the history of
transport in the area has affected the lives of
people who lived in Molesey, and to study the
effect of regional, national and international
policies and events on transport links.
Meetings
Meetings are held every 6-8 weeks, usually on a
Wednesday at 8 pm. There have been 5 meetings so
far. The location is normally the Methodist
Church Hall situated in Manor Road.

Recent Developments
Activity to date has focused on rail transport,
and a talk by a member of the Group on accidents
on the London and South West Railway was well
attended.
Help Needed
The Group currently has only three members so
there is plenty of scope for those interested in
this subject to join in.
